Experience a luxurious holiday in the pearl of Indian ocean, Sri Lanka as you explore its tropical beaches, jaw-dropping wildlife and ancient monuments. Cover the top destinations including Bentota, Nuwara Eliya and Kandy as you get enough time to spend in each of these breathtaking cities. Visit world heritage sites, enjoy a wildlife safari, visit a local elephant camp and take a cooking class with a cooking expert, this itinerary includes all the must-visit and must-do experiences for a memorable stay in Sri Lanka. 

Day 01: Kotugoda 
On arrival at the airport, you will meet our representative and directly get transferred to Kotugoda. Check in at the hotel and spend your time at leisure. Overnight stay in Kotugoda. 
Day 02: Kotugoda – Sigiriya 
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Sigiriya which is approximately 4hrs drive from Kotugoda. Also, you get to visit a traditional village where people live in harmony with nature. Spend your time strolling through the village past patches of jungle and Chena cultivations, enjoy a Bull cart ride and catamaran boat ride in the village lake. Also, visit a traditional mud house for a Sri Lankan lunch of rice and curry. 
Later, transfer to Sigiriya hotel for overnight stay.  
Day 03: Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Minneriya National Park – Sigiriya 
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, a world heritage site and the ancient capital of Sri Lanka from 11th to 13th centuries and home to some splendid statues in the country. Afterward, enjoy a that houses a large population of elephants and a variety of animals including, Wild Buffaloes, Wild Boar, Spotted Deer, Sloth Bear, Sambhur, Crocodiles, Jackals, 9 kinds of amphibians, 25 kinds of reptiles, and 160 species of birds. 
Later, return to Sigiriya hotel for an overnight stay. 
Day 04: Sigiriya – Matale – Kandy 
After breakfast at the hotel visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, another world heritage site and a 5th century fortress in the country. Some of the must-visit here include Water Gardens, Fountain Garden, summerhouse, Boulder Gardens and the Caves.  
Afterward, travel to Kandy en-route visiting Matale spice Garden where you will get to see various plants and trees of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper creepers. You can also buy spice products to take back home.  
In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic which houses the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha and is an important landmark in Kandy. Afterward, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay in Kandy.  
Day 05: Kandy – Kegalle – Kandy 
 After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Kandy city for a local Cooking Demonstration. The cooking class will be led by a local chef who knows all the secrets to a good Sri Lankan dish and would teach you how to cook a typical meal including rice and curry. After cooking the dishes, you can enjoy your meal.  
Later, get transferred to Millennium Elephant Foundation, a family run non-government organization (NGO) dedicated to improving the welfare of domestic elephants throughout Sri Lanka. It offers an ethical, up close and personal experience with the domestic elephants.  
Afterward, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. 
Day 06: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya 
After breakfast at the hotel travel to Kandy Railway Station to enjoy a scenic train journey to Nuwara Eliya. 
Special Note: We generally obtain first-class train tickets for all our clients, but first-class carriages, with air conditioning, are available only a few. Trains are often cancelled, and we often face challenges in obtaining the tickets due to high demand. Hence, we cannot definite the train tickets to our clients until we get the train tickets in hand. 
After reaching Nuwara Eliya, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. 
Day 07: Nuwara Eliya 
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day at leisure. 
Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. 
Day 08: Nuwara Eliya – Bentota 
After having breakfast at the hotel, leave for Bentota approximately 5.5hrs drive from Nuwara Eliya. Check in to the hotel and spend your time at your leisure. Overnight stay in Bentota. 
Day 09: Bentota  
Have breakfast at the hotel and go for a full day leisure optional excursion at extra cost. 
Whale & Dolphin Watching Tour – US$ 45 per person 
Galle Fort Tour – US$ 25 per person 
Madu Ganga Boat Safari – US$ 30 per person 
Overnight stay in Bentota. 
Day 10: Departure 
Have breakfast at the hotel and spend your time at leisure. Later, get transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
