Day 3: Bangkok–Kanchanaburi–Ban Kao (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Between 6:00 and 7:00am, you will be picked up from your hotel and be driven by coach to Kanchanaburi. En route, we will stop over at Phra Pathom Chedi, the tallest stupa in the world, which is situated right in the centre of an enormous central square. When you approach the site from the North Gate, you are welcomed with exquisite marble stairs which then follow onto to a golden Buddha statue.

Afterwards, you will visit the Khao Noi Cave Temple, which is a well-known location for meditation and relaxation. Tham Khao Noi also means ‘Temple of the Small Cave’. You will also be stopping at the Tiger Cave Temple, a religious site for local monks that consists of many natural caves. Thereafter, continue on to visit the JEATH War Museum, home to many impressive shrines and statues, and also the Wat Tham Khaopoon, a Buddhist temple where locals come to pray.
At noon, you will climb on board the RV River Kwai and enjoy some lunch. The afternoon is at your leisure, so you can explore or take a stroll around some local areas for some cultural insight. Later return to the boat and continue up river to the Wang Pla Moo Bridge.

Dinner and overnight stay is included on board.

Day 4: Ban Kao-Sai Yok (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast, you will cruise on, passing the Kwai Noi River, stopping at the Prasat Muang Singh Historical Park, nicknamed as ‘Lion City’ and Khmer Kingdom. This historical park is considered to be one of the best religious structures in Thailand with its Khmer-style architecture dating back to the Lopburi period.
Then continue your journey by road to the Tha Kilen Train Station and catch a train to the Krasae Cave.
After you return on the cruise boat, you can enjoy some lunch and leisure time. Later dinner will be served and you can enjoy another overnight stay.
