DAY 1 Arrival at Marrakech airport

Our representative and private transfer will be waiting for us at Menara Airport, we will be whisked away to our charming riad. Set against the backdrop of the Majestic Atlas Mountains, Marrakech floods the senses with overwhelming sights, sounds and smells, casting a spell over the unsuspecting traveler. Once evening is upon we, venture on the beaten heart of the city : Jemaa el Fna square Overnight at Palais Khum

DAY 2 Marrakech

As we start our visit this morning we will discover an exciting blend of modern architecture and an ancient walled medina. We will first stand by the Koutoubia Mosque with its 282 ft minaret, an architectural landmark dating back to the late 12th century. We will then enter the Kasbah from Bab Agnaou gate to visit the historical and beautifully ornate Saadian necropolis of the 16th century. Our walk through the 12th century Kasbah and its food market, bakeries and narrow alleyways will lead us to the Badii palace built in the 16th century. We will continue to the 19th century Bahia palace and discover the intricate work done by the local artisans to decorate this splendid home built by a powerful Vizir for his Harem. We will end our exploration with a stroll inside the Jewish quarter and visit the historical synagogue built in 1492 by Sephardic Jews expelled from Spain.
After a break for lunch we will be guided through the “Hidden sides of Marrakech”

DAY 3 Marrakech - Beni Mellal - Fes

We will depart this morning and head north towards the Middle Atlas Mountains across the fertile plains of the Tadla region. Once in Beni Mellal we will climb to the famous spring of Ain Asserdoune and stop at the Kasbah of Moulay Ismael from where we will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the town and the green plains around. After lunch we continue to the first foothills of the Middle Atlas. Overnight at Riad Salama.

DAY 4 Fes

Fez will stimulate all your senses as you go for your guided tour inside Fes el Bali (old Fes) across food and spice markets, handicraft quarters, auction markets and colorful stores. Visit the local communal bakeries and have a look into children's pre-schools, enter artisan workshops and discover the secrets of their ancestral arts, walk by many historical fountains, mosques and sanctuaries. In the afternoon we will visit the royal palace of the late 19th century. This palace is now a museum of Fez traditional arts. From here we continue to Fez El Jedid (new Fez) for a stroll in the Jewish quarter where you will be able to visit some old and historical synagogues . Overnight at Riad Salama.

DAY 5 Fes - Volubilis - Maknes - Rabat

This morning the drive takes us across a beautiful countryside via the pass of Zegouta to reach the archaeological site of Volubilis . We will be taken for a comprehensive walking tour of this World Heritage site of which the excavated ruins are particularly noted for their amazing colorful mosaics in good state of preservation. The setting is a photographer's delight. Next on to Meknes is an imperial city that served as the capital of Morocco in the 17th century for the Sultan Moulay Ismail. Meknes is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our tour leader will take us for a comprehensive tour of the city's highlights. In the afternoon we will continue you will drive across one of the richest plains in Morocco to Rabat. Overnight at Riad Kalaa 2.

DAY 6 Rabat - Casablanca

Our morning tour begins with the fortified Kasbah Oudaya including the 17th century royal residence and its Andalusia style garden. Mohamed V Mausoleum, a masterpiece of the Moroccan art and craft next to which stands the medieval Hassan Tower built in the late 12th century. Then we will continue to Casablanca, the largest and most modern city in the country to visit the Hassan II mosque. This is the most impressive architectural achievement in this city and it reflects the beauty and the intricacy of Moroccan traditional arts. Overnight at Hotel Novotel Casablanca City center
