Are you an inspiring travel writer or blogger who would love to have your work published? We at Brightsun have launched our guest blogger competition, in which you could be in with winning the chance to post your very own guest blog and also receive a hamper of travel goodies. We’ll share your post across social media too!

We’re looking for a creative and engaging travel themed blog and will choose a winning blog to be posted. Maybe there’s a particularly special travel experience that you would like to write about; perhaps an unusual travel memory or your worst holiday, or maybe there’s some destinations on your bucket list. We want to hear your stories, and we want to publish our favourite!

You could even provide us with a local’s insider about the city you live in - is it worth taking a staycation there? What are the best things to do and see? Use your imagination, knowledge or experience to the best of your ability to write us a unique blog and you could be in with the chance of having it published, and also receiving some great travel items in the post.

If you’d like to take advantage of the opportunity to guest blog for Brightsun, all you need to do is send us your blog on a word document with images. The blog should aim to be between 500-1000 words. Please email your entry to marketing@brightsun.co.uk with the subject line ‘guest blog competition’. Competition Terms & Conditions:

•   Entrants should provide work that is solely original and not copied from any other website. Any such document that includes copied content will be subject to copywriting and will be disqualified from the competition
•   The prize is a travel themed hamper to the value of £40
•   The prize will only be posted to UK residences
•   The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
•   The winner of this competition will be judged by a panel at Brightsun based on creativity
•   This competition ends on 28th February 2020
•   The winner will be notified within a week of the competition closing date
•  The winner’s blog will be subject to grammatical editing by a member of the Brightsun Team before posting.
