The Embrace
A bronze sculpture by Hank Willis Thomas was installed in Boston in January 2023 to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. This stunning artwork depicts four intertwined arms, representing the hug they shared after Martin Luther was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. The Embrace is a beautiful piece of art that celebrates the strong links with Martin Luther King Jr and his family share with Boston and is a sight not to be missed!
The Tall Ship
Docked at Pier One, this 245-feet long ship houses a bar and oyster bar alongside the food trucks aplenty. Sip a cocktail whilst looking out over the sparkling waters lapping at the Boston skyline with the sun shining brightly and a DJ playing music in the background. You can even reserve a private seating area; there are picnic tables available where you can grab a bite from one of the food trucks or play a game of giant Jenga.
Salem
Go on a sightseeing trip of Salem just 30 minutes’ drive away and explore its interesting witch history. You can either take the bus or hire a car, or even take a ferry from Boston directly to Salem which takes just 50 minutes. Salem is an intriguing coastal town that can be visited at any time of year, but October and Halloween will get you a series of parades, events and lots of ghostly happenings.
New England
Boston is a gateway to New England with its 6 states right on its doorstep where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor adventures, beautiful scenery, cider farms as well as activities like hiking, biking, zipline, canoeing and kayaking.
