Lunch is considered as the main meal in Saudi which traditionally consists of drinking laban, a liquid yoghurt, and consuming delicious entrees including kabsa, the country’s national dish. Dinner is usually a light meal, with popular dishes including thareed – a Middle Eastern stew, and for dessert there is lots to choose from, from buttermilk cookies to pastries and traditional sweets.
