In Bahrain, you could delve into the city’s historic and cultural sites like the Bahrain National Museum, Bahrain Fort, and Al Fateh Grand Mosque, explore the famous Bahrain International Circuit, home of the Bahrain Grand Prix, shop til you drop at The Avenues shopping mall and browse for souvenirs in the city’s souqs for traditional handicrafts, spend the day at the Al Areen Wildlife Park and Reserve to spot Arabian wildlife, and discover the Tree of Life, an ancient, lone tree in the desert which has baffled scientists as it thrives in harsh conditions with no apparent water source.

Bahrain is a great spot for diving, with sites that include shipwrecks and coral reefs. Pearl diving experiences are also available, where you can try your luck at finding pearls. If you like to take to the water, then you could explore Jarada Island on an excursion and enjoy swimming, snorkelling, and sunbathing on pristine beaches. The Karzakan forest is also worth visiting, home to a series of rare animal and plant species – it's one of Bahrain’s oldest surviving forests.

Don’t miss a visit to the city’s top landmarks: Masmak Fortress, which now serves as a museum showcasing the kingdom's history, the National Museum of Saudi Arabia - located in the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, the UNESCO listed Diriyah – the ancestral home of the Saudi Royal Family, and the Kingdom Centre Tower - one of Riyadh's most recognisable landmarks, home to a sky bridge with panoramic views of the city.

Riyadh also offers many leisure opportunities, with desert adventures like quad biking and sand duning, plus modern shopping malls, the Riyadh Zoo, the Wadi Hanifa – a natural valley filled with scenic walking trails, and the dramatic Edge of the World cliff offering incredible desert vistas. Why not visit Riyadh during one of its cultural festivals for even more fun and leisure; the Janadriyah Festival is the ultimate celebration of Arabian culture, with music, dance, food, and crafts to enjoy.
