The new premium sports-themed dining establishment celebrates the NBA league’s history with customised décor and art, 10,000 square feet of space, a modern food and beverage menu, outdoor and private dining experiences, and retail space offering official NBA merchandise, apparel, and prints.
The 2023/2024 Theatre Season in Toronto Has Been Announced
Mirvish, the premier theatre producer of Toronto has presented its 2023/24 theatre subscription season, including 7 musicals: the new in Dreams musical, the award-winning sit-down SIX production, Broadway musical Jagged Little Phil, the new 42nd Street – directed by Jonathan Church, Disney’s Aladdin, the acclaimed Les Misérables, and the Tina Turner Musical which features the iconic singer’s greatest hits.
The YYZ Express Security Screening Programme Has Launched
The YYZ Express is a complimentary online reservation system that allows passengers quicker access through security screening when departing from Toronto Pearson Airport, helping to manage queues and wait times and allowing passengers more time to relax before their flight. This service is available at the airport’s Terminal 1 D Gates security screening point, plus the Terminal 3 B & C Gates security screening point.
A New Dining Hall is Opening up at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre
The renowned shopping mall CF Toronto Eaton Centre will be launching a new large dining hall in autumn 2023 in partnership with Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality. The venue, called Queen’s Cross, will be designed by Solid Design Creative with a chef-driven dining concept, a new café and bar, and over 15 food stalls including international fast food chains and established full-scale restaurants across over 19,000 square feet of space.
Canada's Theatre Museum Is Opening This Autumn
The new Theatre Museum will be opening at the historic Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre in downtown Toronto, with Canadian Actor Colm Feore acting as the organisation’s patron. The Theatre Museum was originally founded in 1990 and formerly hosted pop-up exhibits, but this will be the museum’s first permanent venue, offering space for educational programmes, presentations, and permanent exhibitions.
The Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto Will Open This Summer
This brand new Vegas-style casino, set to open in summer 2023 will be the largest destination casino resort in Canada, comprising a contemporary casino with more than 4800 slot machines and 145 table games, as well as 8 dining venues from fine dining establishments to gastropubs, an integrated hotel with well-appointed rooms, a pool, fitness club, and live entertainment venue. The resort will be situated adjacent to Toronto’s Woodbine Racetrack.
