Competition Terms and Conditions:  

This competition is open and eligible to members of the UK public aged 18 and over only. Employees of Brightsun Travel and employees of participating industry partners are not eligible to participate. Furthermore, agents and distributors as well as employees of the marketing or media agencies contracted by Brightsun Travel and anyone connected with this competition are not eligible to participate.   

The Promoters are Brightsun Travel with offices at 14 Hanworth Road, Hounslow, Middlesex, TW3 1UA, United Kingdom. Brightsun Travel is solely responsible for the administration of this Competition. All decisions made by the Promoters in all matters regarding this competition are final.    The competition starts at 12:00am GMT on 1st December 2025 and ends at 11.59pm GMT on 12th December 2025 (closing date). Entries received after the closing date of the competition will not be considered. 

The entry mechanism is by completing an online form; telephone numbers are only taken to contact the winners for a time sensitive prize such as flight bookings and will not be used in any marketing or shared with any 3rd parties. Winners are selected randomly.   

By entering the competition, all entrants are deemed to have understood, accepted and bound by these Terms and Conditions (Terms). Please retain these Terms for your future reference. By entering this competition, entrants also agree to be automatically signed up to the weekly Brightsun Travel newsletter.  

Only one entry per day is allowed per entrant; subsequent entries will not count, and excessive entries under the same name or email will result in disqualification. All entry emails are carefully reviewed, and any fake email ids will be removed and disqualified. Entrants must not enter the competition on behalf of someone else. The prizes are to be redeemed by the individual winners who entered the competition, and the name given when redeeming must match the one given when entering, or the prize will be forfeited.

The winning Entrants (“Winners”) will be chosen at random. The Promoter’s decision in all matters regarding the awarding of the Prize is final and binding.

The Winner will be contacted within approximately four weeks of the closing date by email (or by phone if it is a time sensitive prize such as a flight with a ‘book by’ date). This period may be reasonably extended to account for weekends, UK public and bank holidays, or unforeseen administrative delays. If the winner does not respond to the email or phone call within 2 days of the message, the prize will be automatically forfeited, and another winner drawn. Please check junk email regularly throughout the competition to ensure any communications from Brightsun are not missed.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel, modify, or offer an alternative prize of equal value at any time, if it is not possible to award the advertised prize.

If a travel voucher, flights, or holiday is won, the winner(s) must arrange and pay for their own travel insurance / visas; if a flight is cancelled and accommodation has been paid for by the winner, the winner is liable to ensure their travel insurance can pay for costs. Brightsun Travel will not pay any costs related to cancelled or missed flights. If the passenger cannot travel for any reason, they must ensure they have appropriate travel insurance to cover any losses in these circumstances.

No purchase is necessary to participate in entering this competition, but internet connection is required, and voucher prizes may require an additional spend. Prizes are not transferable, and non-cash prizes shall not be redeemable for cash. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of the Prize will be permitted, except that the Promoters reserve the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value for any prize if the intended Prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond their control.

At any time during the Competition, the Promoters reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify and remove any Entrant for any failure to observe the Terms including but not limited to cases where the Promoters believe the Entrant to be engaged in any kind of illegal or inappropriate behaviour. If a Winner is disqualified, the Prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternative Winner selected by the Promoters.

By entering the Competition, you release to the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, the Promoters, any Prize suppliers, and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind, whether consequential or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the Competition or delivery, mis delivery, acceptance, possession, use of, or inability to use the Prize (including, without limitation on claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other alleged cause of action. Nothing shall exclude the Promoters’ liability for death or personal injury because of their negligence.

By entering this Competition, you agree to take part in any publicity, if required, for example, social media posts with your name announced.

The Promoters may, at any time, at their sole discretion and without prior notice, amend or modify these Terms and may also suspend, interrupt, terminate, or discontinue this Competition at any time without reason and notice or liability to anyone. This applies in particular in the event of any circumstances that disrupt the Competition or prevent it from proceeding as planned.

You acknowledge that the Promoters, its Prize sponsors, directors, officers, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable to the maximum extent permitted by law; and for medical expenses incurred no matter under which circumstances; and for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses, or claims suffered by Entrants as a result of entering into this Competition or accepting and utilizing the respective Prize; and for any injury or damage to you or any other person relating to or resulting from participation in connection with this Competition; and for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

You further acknowledge that the Promoters shall not be liable jointly.  Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Competition should be directed to marketing@brightsun.co.uk

By accepting these Terms, you agree and consent to the promoters publishing your name and asking for a photo to publish on the Brightsun social media pages. This information may also be used (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising or publicity purposes (where legal), and the use of statements made by or attributed to the Winner of this Competition, and any and all rights to said use, without further compensation. The Winners may be publicly announced on Facebook. His/her name will be displayed in marketing communications and the Brightsun website.

All data, including personal data submitted by you, is supplied voluntarily. Personal data is collected by Brightsun Travel, 14 Hanworth Rd, Hounslow, Middx, TW3 1UA, United Kingdom (“Brightsun”). We will send one initial email out to all entrants to notify them who the winner is.

This Competition and any disputes relating to it will be governed by the laws of England and be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

This Competition is for UK entrants only and void in all countries where it is illegal by law. Residents from such countries must not submit entries, and any such entries that are submitted will not be accepted. Entrants from jurisdictions where the promotion is not permitted will not be entitled to claim any prize.
