Grand Pineapple Beach - 7 nights - all inclusive
Location : Antigua is the largest of the British Leeward Islands and holidays to Antigua offer fine beaches and an abundance of historic sites dating from the colonial era. There are 365 beaches on the island...one for every day of the year.
All the signs pointed towards Antigua. The island had warm, steady winds, a complex coastline of safe harbours, and a protective, nearly unbroken wall of coral reef. It would make a perfect place to hide a fleet. And so in 1784 the legendary Admiral Horatio Nelson sailed to Antigua and established Great Britain's most important Caribbean base. Little did he know that over 200 years later the same unique characteristics that attracted the Royal Navy would transform Antigua and Barbuda in one of the Caribbean's premier tourist destinations. Approx. 7 miles from V.C. Bird International Airport, transfer time is 20 minutes and distance to St John’s is 4 miles.
The signs are still there, they just point to different things. The Trade Winds that once blew British men-of-war safely into English Harbour now fuel one of the world's foremost maritime events, Sailing Week. The expansive, winding coastline that made Antigua difficult for outsiders to navigate is where today's trekkers encounter a tremendous wealth of secluded, powdery soft beaches. The coral reefs, once the bane of marauding enemy ships, now attract snorkel and scuba divers from all over the world.

Accommodation
Designed to reflect its informal Caribbean setting, Grand Pineapple enjoys a prime beachfront location on the undeveloped north-east coast of Antigua. Amidst the breathtaking crescent-shaped Long Bay, the resorts 25-acres of beautiful tropical gardens lead down to 1,600 feet of white sand beach. Three-quarters of the accommodations boast ocean views, while the restaurants, bars and swimming pools are just steps from the sand.
Relaxation on the beach or around one of the swimming pools is usually the daytime theme here, and a sociable ambience prevails in the evenings, cocktails in the ocean front bar followed by dinner in one of three enticing restaurants and of course the nightclub waits to take you into the small hours.
