All seats are equipped with the latest in in-flight entertainment with 18 video channels including air-show with forward and downward cameras; seat-back television, 22-audio channels and 16 video games in all seats. Business Class also has an on-demand movie library with over 30 titles. Business Class Each SriLankan Airlines Business Class seat is 19.5” wide (arm rest - arm rest) and they are placed two abreast- every seat is an aisle or window seat. Each seat is electronically operated with an adjustable footrest, headrest, and lumbar-support. You will have your own reading lamp, which will not disturb your neighbour. Seat Pitch
In Flight Meals Business Class Passengers can choose to have multiple entrees (main items). Each trolley also has a new wine cage with an enhanced selec- tion of fine wines, together with our fine dining cutlery and crockery and new designer plates bearing SriL- ankan colors. All types of egg dishes are also made a fresh by cabin crew in the galleys on board – scrambled, boiled, baked – and plates are dressed on the spot and served to passengers. Service SriLankan Airlines offers a satellite telephone service connecting passengers to anywhere around the globe, at only US$ 5.00 per minute to call family, friends or business partners. Passengers can also send faxes from the onboard fax machine and charge their laptop computers at one of three charging stations on board any of the Airbus A330 aircraft as well as at one charging station on board the other aircraft. SriLankan also offers a seat-to-seat calling facility, which is free of charge. On Board Entertainment Choose from 18 movie and TV channels presenting the latest and greatest blockbusters to keep you entertained throughout your journey. You will be guided through the entertainment section with the award-winning In-flight Entertainment Guide, "Onboard", which clinched the prestigious runner-up position at the 12th annual AVION awards conducted by the World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA) in Los Angeles. If you prefer to lie back and close your eyes, the 22 radio channels offer you a wide selection of music including pop, rock, classical and country music. To reduce the effects of dehydration we serve you refreshments every 45 minutes between meals. On certain short sectors where headsets are not offered due to limited flight time a selection of Charlie Chaplin silent movie classics are played or you can choose from a wide selection of video games. SriLankan Airlines has now introduced 16 video games on its A330 and A340 flights. This includes all sectors operated by these aircraft, including those where inflight entertainment was not previously available. The video games have been chosen to cater to all tastes, and range from checkers, backgammon, blackjack and poker to Galaktor, Tetrix, Magma Zone and Busy Bee. |
