Lounges As a First Class passenger, you have access to the exclusive world of the First Class Lounge in The Wing. Here, you can freshen up with a luxurious bath in The Cabanas, sample delicious cuisine in The Haven, enjoy a quiet moment with a good book in The Library...and much, much more. Featuring some of PlayStation®2's most popular games in Hong Kong, the GameZone brings a new dimension to your lounge experience. Whether racing through the streets in the driving simulator; showing off your drumming skills or trying one of the other games on offer at the 14 PlayStation®2 consoles, you'll find something to help take your mind off things before your flight. With the wireless Internet access, you can now surf the Net while having a drink at The Long Bar, check your email over a coffee at the Short Bar, or do a spot of online shopping while enjoying a sumptuous meal in The Haven. One of the unique features at The Pier is the addition of six Day-Break Rooms. Each offers an undisturbed environment for you to enjoy a little extra privacy. Relax in front of your own TV in the legendary Balzac armchair. Useful little amenities, such as wake-up calls and waiter service with food and drinks, are also available. You can also enjoy the style and comfort of our shower suites. Our Personal Living Spaces all feature spacious work areas with ample elbow space to really get down to work. First Class Seat The heart of the new First Class is the seat. Apart from being among the longest and widest in the sky, the First Class seat can quickly and easily extend into a full-length bed. For extra comfort, Cathay Pacific First Class now offers luxury duvets, pillows and, for the ultimate in slumber comfort, a 'sleepsuit'. Your First Class seat has a length of 81 inches, is 32 inches wide between the armrests, has a bed width of 36 inches and can recline 180 degrees into a completely flat bed. Seat Pitch
In Flight Meals One of the highlights awaiting every First Class passenger is the superb array of Asian and International cuisine, all freshly prepared in our state-of-the-art galley boasting rice cookers, toasters, steam ovens and fresh coffee-making facilities. Because all dishes are made to order, you can choose what to eat. Service For passengers on long-haul flights, Cathay Pacific offer specially selected amenity kits for him: Acca Kappa products from Italy and Victorinox travel bags from Switzerland; and for her: Darphin products from France and Ipa-Nima travel bags from Vietnam; as well as basic essentials including toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. Passengers on long-haul flights are also offered pyjamas, made by Shanghai Tang. On Board Entertainment There is a lot more to the new First Class cabin than an ultra comfortable chair and bed. You have your very own fully-adjustable 17" widescreen television with noise-cancelling headsets and 'Audio-Video-On-Demand' (AVOD). Business Class Seat The new Business Class cabin will redefine long-haul business travel, offering comfort and privacy whether you are working or relaxing in flight. Individual space is enhanced by moulded partitions and a new seating configuration which allows unrestricted aisle access from each seat. Other innovations include advanced technology and state-of-the-art design, putting everything within easy reach. The result is the ideal environment for a more comfortable and productive business flight. The new luxury seat transforms into a fully flat bed, 6 feet 6 inches for a more restful sleep on long-haul flights. Cathay Pacific carry a range of 40 quality wines on board – from rare wines produced in France and Italy to wines from the New World including South Africa, Australia, the United States and New Zealand and of course, Cathay Pacific only offers you the top picks. For your main meal, you are given a choice of four entrées on long-haul flights, and between two and three on regional flights - selected from a superb range of Asian and Western dishes. The mains are either presented on a low, flat-topped trolley giving you an inviting eye-level choice of what's on offer, or presented on a tray by a flight attendant. Service The new 110V AC power socket is suitable for work or play – computers, PDAs, MP3 Players and other electronic devices. A pillow and illumination light allow you to create a more cosy environment. The amenity kits, by French label Agnes b, feature select skincare products from American brands Murad or Dermalogica, and other essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash. On Board Entertainment Featured only in Cathay's New Business Class cabins, you have your very own 15" widescreen television with noise-cancelling headsets and 'Audio-Video-On-Demand' (AVOD). Economy Class Seat In a world first for Economy Class travel, the new seat creates a fixed living space that no longer interrupts the space behind when you recline. The exclusive LEAP Live BackTM feature uses office chair technology to provide active support of the spine in all positions. The recline button enables the seat bottom to slide forward while the back recedes into the shell. To return to upright position, simply slide the seat back. This is different from your terrestrial power charger, and can purchaseon the ground at any major computer store.
